Blissfields has announced the first confirmed acts, including the Friday Headliner: The Wonder Stuff.

The Wonder Stuff

Other acts announced include: Imperial Leisure, Subgiant, Modernaire, Pistola, The Jacks, Subsource, The Beat Maras, Andy Comley, Blisskrieg, Nathan"Flutbox" Lee, Captain Phoenix, Lazy Habits, The Subliminal Girls, Chris T-T (Band and Solo), Ruth Theodore, Red Eye Banquet, Skuba, and Life at The Pines. There are still many more acts yet to be announced.

Blissfields is scaling up to a three-day festival in 2008, the dates are confirmed as Friday 4th to Sunday 6th July. Because of the increase in scale (to 4,000 people), the festival is moving to a new site, Matterley Bowl, near Winchester (where Homelands used to take place).

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale on Friday 1st February, from the Blissfields website and other outlets. The price will be £60 for the weekend with camping; £40 for those aged 8-16 for the weekend with camping, with campervans costing just £15, and Thursday night camping available for an extra fiver. Children aged under 8 are free. A limited number of Day tickets will also be available.

Blissfields is an intimate festival for all the family in the heart of the Hampshire countryside. This is a festival for people who want something as far removed from the big commercial festivals as you can get! There will be quality food and beer (including real ales) on sale, many stalls, family areas and workshops.
