After last year's inaugrial event, BLOC Weekend returns again next spring from Friday 14th until Sunday 16th March again at Pontin's Hemsby Holiday Centre, Hemsby-on-Sea, Norfolk (near Great Yarmouth).

It has three 24 hour days of independent electronic music in three arenas, and is promising "a lineup that will coax the finest, the most reclusive, the most stupefyingly outstanding acts from the far-flung reaches of the planet to make a generation's head spin once again". No acts are announced for next year as yet, but this year featured a line-up including Autechre, Kool Keith, and Rhythm and Sound.

Held in a holiday park it has a no-rain/no-mud guarantee (inside where all the action is, anyway), with attendees staying in fully equipped self-catering chalet accommodation. The holiday park also has bars, swimming pool, go-karts and lots of other holiday treats.

Tickets cost £110 per person, but bookings are required per chalet, which are for four to eight people. Last year sold out its 2,500 tickets in advance so don't hang about, and get your tickets here.
