they tried to make her go to rehab

she said no, no, ok

By Scott Johnson | Published:

The lyrics from Amy Winehouse's highest charting UK single 'Rehab' may well be coming back to haunt her.

The singer, who they tried to make go to rehab, has finally said yes, yes, yes, after she was admitted into hospital last week due to an overdose.

The Sun is reporting that Winehouse has checked into the Causeway rehab centre in Essex, leading to speculation that she won't turn up for her scheduled appearance at this weekend's V Festival, which takes place at the duel sites of Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire.

As of yet no cancellation has been made, but if she did pull out it wouldn't be the first time she cancelled a festival this year. She pulled out of T in The Park and Norway's Oya Festival, as well as a string of her own European dates. Now she has also cancelled her support slots with The Rolling Stones.

The singer who reportedly told the Sun earlier this week that "Rehab is a cop-out" looks like she will finally have to face her own music.

Next weekend's V Festivals will feature a line-up of over 100 acts, including The Killers, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Pink, James, Kanye West, Jarvis Cocker, Paolo Nutini, The Fratellis, Editors, KT Tunstall, James Morrison, Basement Jaxx, The Kooks, Amy Winehouse, Manic Street Preachers, Dizzee Rascal, Lily Allen, Babyshambles, Mika, Primal Scream, Damien Rice, Corinne Bailey Rae, and more. To see which acts play at which site on which day, click for Hylands Park, Chelmsford or Weston Park, Staffordshire.

Tickets for Chelmsford are completely sold out, and there are only disabled tickets available for weekend (no camping) or for either days at Staffordshire. To buy click here.

If you are still in need of a place to camp at Chelmsford then you can always pitch up at the nearby Montpeliers Farm which is only 10 minutes walk from the main arena. To do this click here.
