new music festival for Milton Keynes

A new music festival will take place this year near Milton Keynes. The festival is called Mad Dogs and Englishman, and will feature a line-up of 28 indie, new rave and electro artists, spread across two days over the weekend of Saturday 8th and Sunday 9th September.

Headlining on the Saturday will be The Holloways, with The Hoosiers taking to the main stage on Sunday.

Other acts on the bill are iForward, Russia!, Blood Red Shoes, Drive By Argument, iLiKETRAiNS, Look See Proof, Metro Riots, Victorian English Gentlemens Club, Assembly Now, Black Wire, 586, Middleman, SixNationState, Popular Workshop, Hey Gravity, Eight Legs, The Runners, The Daze, The Brian Jacket Letdown, Edelweiss Pirates, Kotki Dwa, The Rapscallions, and The Swarmis. There will also be Djing from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels. For the full list of acts click here.

The event looks set to be an intimate one, with tickets limited to just 1200. Tickets for the weekend are priced at £49 (including camping), and can be purchased from here. Please note that tickets will only be available in advance (no on-the-door sales).
