The organisers of Bloom Festival, which will be held on a new site at Dyrham Park, Gloucestershire on Friday 10th to Sunday 12th August, have confirmed that the festival will not be affected by the recent spat of bad weather and flooding in the UK.

The land used for the event is situated on relatively high ground which drops away quite steeply at two sides. This means that any excess water soaks away quickly leaving no unexpected puddles, lakes or rivers where there should be big top tents and stages.

The festival has also been granted a 24 hour licence, so it will be be able to run some of the smaller music stages through the night and will have a 24 hour chillout/cafe area which will be accessible throughout the event.

On the Saturday, festival goers are invited to participate in an official Guinness World Record attempt. The aim is to have the world’s biggest game of Musical Statues ever. The record currently stands at 260.

Previously confirmed acts include Aim, Babyhead, Ben Westbeech, Crazy P, Dub Pistols, Long Range (Phil Hartnoll), Mr Hudson & The Library, The Earlies, The Whip, Soul II Soul, and more - click here for the details.

Tickets are on sale, priced at £85 for adults, Kids (5-17yr) £30, under-5s FREE. Day tickets are priced at £35. Click here to buy.
