V Festival announces line-up for the Virgin Mobile Stage

V Festival which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, Essex and Weston Park, Staffordshire on Saturday 18th and Sunday 19th August has announced the line-up for the Virgin Mobile Stage.

Performing on the stage this year will be Graham Coxon, Bright Eyes, The Bravery, Boy Kill Boy, Stephen Fretwell, Plan B, Bedouin Soundclash, The Holloways, Air Traffic, Mr Hudson And The Library, The Rumble Stripes, Mumm-Ra, Remi Nicole, Switches, Cherry Ghost, The Wombats, Tiny Dancers, Ghosts, Unklejam, Passenger, Hoosiers, Dodgems, Rebecca and Pop Levi.

V Festival Director, Bob Angus comments "This Stage, now making it’s fourth appearance, goes from strength to strength every year. The calibre of the acts performing has helped establish the Virgin Mobile Union Stage as a must see destination at V Festival."

The line-up has also been announced for the Strongbow Cider House. There will be DJ sets from Kris Bones, Erol Alkan, Rob da Bank, David Griffiths, Dub Pistols, Kraft Kuts (Live), PBR Streetgang, Justin Roberston, Bez (DJ Set), Palladium, Leeroy Thornhill, Bonde do Role, Cagedbaby, Evil Nine, Kris Bones, DJ Mehdi, FlyKKiller, Filthy Dukes, Does It Offend You, Yeah? (Live), Zombie Disco Squad, and Streetlife DJs.

The BACARDI B-LIVE Bar is also returning to V Festival, and will feature sets from Spontaneous Construction, Spiritual South, Jazzanova, Copyright with Shovell (live), Elektrons (live), Norman Jay, Rob Wilder, Katie Barber, Quantic, Slammin’ Boys, Benji B, Katie Barber, Karen P, and Collin Patterson.

Other acts playing at V Festival across the weekend include The Killers, Foo Fighters, Snow Patrol, Kasabian, Pink, James, Kanye West, Jarvis Cocker, Paolo Nutini, The Fratellis, Editors, KT Tunstall, James Morrison, Basement Jaxx, The Kooks, Amy Winehouse, Manic Street Preachers, Dizzee Rascal, Lily Allen, Babyshambles, Mika, Primal Scream, Damien Rice, Corinne Bailey Rae, and more. All tickets for Chelmsford are sold out, but there are some weekend coach package tickets for Staffordshire left - click here to buy. The price of these tickets varies, depending on the location you pick the coach up from.
