Lock-Up & Dance for Reading & Leeds

plus more acts for other stages

The Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds Festivals, which takes place at at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorks on Friday 24th to Sunday 26th August have announced the line-ups for the Lock-Up and Dance stages.

The Lock-Up Stage - named after Radio One’s Mike Davies weekly punk, emo and ska show - has Jimmy Eat World, The Living End, Thrice, Mad Caddies, The Bronx, Capdown, Big D and the Kids Table, The Draft, Street Dogs, The King Blues, Riverboat Gamblers, and The Grit on the Friday at Reading and the Saturday at Leeds, and New Found Glory, Turbonegro, Gallows, Against Me!, Dwarves, From Autumn to Ashes, The Cancer Bats, The Casualties, Ignite, Municipal Waste, Sonic Boom Six, and The Ghost of a Thousand on the Sunday at Reading and Friday at Leeds.

Sharing the same tent on the remaining one day of Saturday at Reading and Sunday at Leeds, the Dance Tent has UNKLE, !!!, Peeping Tom, Digitalism, Datarock, Lethal Bizzle, Metronomy, Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip, Does it Offend You, Yeah?, Crystal Castles, and The Teenagers.

Also newly added to the Main Stage are Paramore at Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday, and Billy Talent at Reading on Sunday and Leeds on Friday.

New for the Radio 1/NME Stage are Aiden, The Sounds, and The Scare all at Reading on Friday and Leeds on Saturday, Brakes and Dogs both at Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday, and Devendra Banhart and Pull Tiger Tail both at Reading on Sunday and Leeds on Friday.

Finally, added to the Carling Stage are Plain White T's at Reading on Friday and Leeds on Saturday, Mute Math at Reading on Saturday and Leeds on Sunday, and Maps, Republic of Loose, Kharma 45, and Make Model all at Reading on Sunday and Leeds on Friday.
