two more acts for Field Day

and a tug of war between the bands...

Field Day, which takes place in London’s Victoria Park on Saturday 11th August has announced two more acts.

Gruff Rhys (of The Super Furry Animals) will headline the Homefires Stage and Liars will headline the Adventures in the Beetroot Field tent.

The festival will also be staging a tug of war competition between bands, with Foals lining up against Battles, Fourtet against Gruff Rhys, and Fence Collective and James Yorkston against Mystery Jets.

With a capacity of 5000, and four music stages, festival goers will be able to see the likes of Battles, Justice live, Erol Alkan, Four Tet, Foals, Mystery Jets, Fridge, Matthew Dear live, Vetiver, Pull Tiger Tail,1990’s, Absentee, Adem, Alberto Cross, Andrew Weatherall, The Aliens, The Earlies, and many more.
