Paradise Lost, Neurosonic, Fortune Drive and The Ghost Of A Thousand

The final acts have been announced for Download festival, which takes place at Donington Park, Leicestershire from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th June.

Playing the Dimebag Darrell stage on Sunday are Paradise Lost. New additions to the Tuborg stage are Neurosonic, and Fortune Drive, who will play on the Friday, and The Ghost Of A Thousand who will play on the Sunday.

In other Download news the festival organisers have taken steps to ensure this is the safest Download festival yet. There will be Campsite Hubs which will oversee all campsite activity and be manned by managers to assist with any queries on the facilities on hand, as well as uniquely designed posters on display giving information on everything from tent security to crowd safety.

Due to concerns about the weather, three teepee’s will be erected on site as a free shade area, and there will also be more water stations than before. As well as the general refreshment venders, Download Festival have ensured that water will be more readily available throughout the weekend.

For the first time this year, a ‘Mister’ is going to be at the festival, which will omit a very fine spray of water so that hot festival goers will be able to stroll through the sculpture, or just relax in the area and let the water mist revitalise and refresh.

Download features headliners My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, & Iron Maiden (who play Friday, Saturday, & Sunday respectively) plus Wolfmother, Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Killswitch Engage, Bring Me The Horizon, Korn, Velvet Revolver, Dragonforce, Devildriver, Lamb Of God, Dimmu Borgir, Evanescence, Motley Crue, Gallows, 30 Seconds To Mars, Enter Shikari, Machine Head, Bowling For Soup and more - click here for the full details to-date, including day and stage splits.

Tickets cost £145 for the three days with camping, or £125 without camping. Parking costs £6 for the weekend if booked in advance or £10 on the day, and campervan passes cost £40. Lockers are also be available, costing £6.
