More line-up details have been announced for End of the Road, which takes place at Larmer Tree Gardens, Tollard Royal, Salisbury, Wiltshire from Friday 14th to Sunday 16th September.

Yo La Tengo and Midlake will headline the Friday night, with Joan As Police Woman, Architecture In Helsinki, Malcolm Middleton, Archie Bronson Outfit, Jim White, James Yorkston, Richard Swift, Besnard Lakes, Dan Sartain, Stephanie Dosen, David Vandervelde, Indigo Moss, Liz Green, Woodpigeon, Telegrams, CW Stoneking, Slow Club, Reigns, Post War Years, Alessi, and The Congregation also newly confirmed.

They join Super Furry Animals, Brakes, The Broken Family Band, Howe Gelb, Herman Dune, Findlay Brown, Fionn Regan, Jeffrey Lewis, Josh T Pearson, Micah P Hinson, Misty's Big Adventure, My Brightest Diamond, Seasick Steve and more - click here for the full details to-date. More acts will be confirmed over the coming weeks and months.

End of the Road Festival showcases both signed and unsigned new talent from the UK, US and Scandinavia. Bands are given longer than average festival set lengths to showcase their talents, while parrots fly and peacocks wander around the festival site.

The festival encourages collaboration and 'special' events, and the 2006 festival saw acts such as I'm from Barcelona, Ed Harcourt, Josh Ritter and Darren Hayman all playing surprise sets in and around the festival site. The festival aims to keep its creative freedom with a conscious decision not to litter the beautiful venue with advertising banners, believing that people go to festivals for the music, not to be sold a particular brand of beer or a mobile phone - a great philosophy!

The festival also offers song writing workshops, an open mic stage, lots of events and activities for children and adults alike, art installations throughout the site, Swedish quiz walks, Kubb - the Viking game, a film stage, comedy and more.

Tickets are on sale, costing £95 for the three days including camping - click here to buy.
