the Carling Stage for The Carling Weekend

includes Albert Hammond Jr, Hot Hot Heat, & The Hold Steady

The Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds Festivals, which takes place at at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorks on Friday 24th to Sunday 26th August have announced the up and coming acts which will play the Carling Stage.

Playing at Reading on the Friday and at Leeds on the Saturday are: Albert Hammond Jr, Patrick Wolf, Jack Penate, Cajun Dance Party, Reverend And The Makers, 1990’s, Alberta Cross, Frank Turner, Blood Red Shoes, Manchester Orchestra, Turbofruits, Ripchord, and Bombay Bicycle Club.

Playing at Reading on the Saturday and at Leeds on the Sunday are: Hot Hot Heat, The Academy Is..., Battles, Silversun Pickups, Shiny Toy Guns, Tokyo Police Club, Cobra Starship, Foals, Director, Kids In Glass Houses, Lostalone, Eisley, and Pete And The Pirates.

Playing at Reading on the Sunday and at Leeds on the Friday are: The Hold Steady, Peter, Bjorn And John, Seasick Steve, Charlotte Hatherley, Kate Nash, Little Ones, Kubichek!, Operator Please, I Was A Cub Scout, and Stalkers.

There's still more acts to be confirmed for the Carling Stage. They join headliners Razorlight (Reading Friday/Leeds Saturday), Red Hot Chili Peppers (Reading Saturday/Leeds Sunday), and Smashing Pumpkins (Reading Sunday/Leeds Friday), and many more acts already announced - click here all for the details.
