The Wickerman Festival, which takes place at Kirkcarswell Farm nr. Kirkcudbright, Galloway, Scotland from Friday 20th to Saturday 21st July has announced that The Proclaimers are to headline the Saturday.

Twins Craig and Charlie Reid have been having a renaissance over the last few years, becoming firm favourites on the festival circuit. Most recently they've had a hit (again) with "500 miles" for Comic Relief.

They join the other confirmed Wickerman acts such as Fun Lovin' Criminals, Hayseed Dixie, The Orb, Eat Static, Easy Star All Stars, The Yardbirds, and many more - click here for the full details to date.

Now in its sixth year, The Wickerman Festival features nine stages, plus other attractions including a festival circus, walkabout theatre, fire performances and the spectacular burning of a 25 ft high Wickerman at Saturday midnight.
