Modest Mouse & more added to Connect

Polyphonic Spree, 1990s, Patrick Wolf, ....

More acts have been announced for Connect, which is taking place at Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September.

Modest Mouse - featuring ex-Smiths guitarist Johnny Marr - are added to the Guitars and Other Machines Tent on the Saturday, as are Sons and Daughters, Rilo Kiley, and Vashti Bunyan. New for this stage on the Sunday are The Polyphonic Spree.

Also newly added are The New Pornographers, and 1990s for the main Oyster Stage on the Saturday, and Patrick Wolf added to this stage for the Sunday. New for the Manicured Noise stage on the Saturday is Alex Smoke, with The Black Dog added to the Sunday.

Previously confirmed acts include The Beastie Boys, The Jesus and Mary Chain, CSS, Primal Scream, Jarvis Cocker, Mogwai, The Divine Comedy, The Only Ones, Bjork, LCD Soundsystem, Idlewild, Tilly and the Wall, King Creosote, and more - click here for all the details to-date. There will be many more international, UK and Scottish bands and artists to be announced over the coming months.

Tickets are priced at £125 for Weekend Camping tickets, £105 for Weekend Only tickets, £45 for Friday Day tickets, and £50 for Saturday or Sunday tickets.
