More acts have been announced for Connect, which is taking place at Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll from Friday 31st August to Sunday 2nd September.

Jarvis Cocker has been added to The Oyster Stage on Friday, and The Trashcan Sinatras will open the festival on the same stage that day. Also added to The Oyster Stage are Mogwai, and The Divine Comedy, who'll play on the Saturday.

New for The Guitars and Other Machines Stage are James Yorkston on the Friday, with both Big Star, and My Latest Novel confirmed for the Sunday.

Also added for the Friday are Optimo, and Nouvelle Vague, who will both be playing The Manicured Noise stage.

Previously confirmed acts include The Beastie Boys, The Jesus and Mary Chain, CSS, Primal Scream, The Only Ones, Bjork, LCD Soundsystem, Idlewild, Tilly and the Wall, and King Creosote. There will be many more international, UK and Scottish bands and artists to be announced over the coming months.

Tickets are priced at £125 for Weekend Camping tickets, £105 for Weekend Only tickets, £45 for Friday Day tickets, and £50 for Saturday or Sunday tickets.
