Metallica have only played Wembley once before, for the Freddie Mercury tribute concert in 1992. Metallica say "to play it now as headliners, especially the brand spankin' new one, is very, very cool... we'll also be bringing a few of our friends along to add to the festivities".
Tickets will go on sale at 9am on Wednesday 21st March, priced at £40 - we'll have links to buy when available.
