Megadeth, Buckcherry, Shadows Fall, & more for Download

By Neil Greenway | Published:

More acts have been announced for Download festival, which takes place at Donington Park, Leicestershire from Friday 8th to Sunday 10th June.

Newly confirmed are Megadeth, Buckcherry, Shadows Fall, Dream Theater, and Turbonegro.

Megadeth’s Dave Mustaine said "The last time that Slash and I played on this stage on the same day was 1988 at Castle Donington, back when it was called Monsters of Rock. So, besides Download being one of the most prestigious festivals in Heavy Metal history to play on, I'm looking forward to seeing if Slash will join me to play something like "Night Train" or "Mr. Brownstone" for old time's sake."

They join headliners My Chemical Romance, Linkin Park, & Iron Maiden (who play Friday, Saturday, & Sunday respectively) plus Wolfmother, Slayer, Marilyn Manson, Killswitch Engage, Bring Me The Horizon, Korn, Velvet Revolver, Dragonforce, Devildriver, Lamb Of God, Dimmu Borgir, Evanescence, Motley Crue, Gallows, 30 Seconds To Mars, Enter Shikari, Machine Head and Bowling For Soup.

Tickets cost £145 for the three days with camping, or £125 without camping. Parking costs £6 for the weekend if booked in advance or £10 on the day, and campervan passes cost £40. Lockers are also be available, costing £6.
