here comes a summer of festival Madness

the nutty boys are headlining Guilfest

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Those nutty boys Madness will be seen on several festival stages this summer, including as headliners for Guilfest.

Suggs told Teletext's Planet Sound that they'll be playing at Glastonbury and Bestival as well as headining Guilfest, as part of a tour that will also include five nights at London's Hackney Empire.

Suggs told Teletext "We hope the new album will be ready in time to put out there when we start touring. It's looking like it might be close, but either way the gigs will be great."

eFestivals reckons there's no band quite like Madness. Aside from The Beatles, there is no other act where nearly everyone both young and old know the words of all their classic songs - it's a guaranteed great time!

Guilfest will take place at Stoke Park, Guildford from Friday 13th to Sunday 15th July. The first official announcement is expected in the next month or so.
