Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk and more for Rock Ness

Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, Groove Armada, The Automatic, and more have been announced for Rock Ness, now a two-day festival with camping, happening outside the village of Dores on the shores of Loch Ness on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th June.

Chemical Brothers will headline the outdoor stage on the Saturday, while Daft Punk will headline the the 10,000 capacity indoor arena on the Sunday. They'll also be three smaller stages, which will include Radio Soulwax hosting a boutique stage on the Saturday featuring 2manydjs, and Rob da Bank will be bringing his Sunday Best extravaganza to Rock Ness.

Other confirmed acts are Alabama 3, Soulwax Nite Versions, The Cuban Brothers, Erol Alkan, Dub Pistols, Caged Baby, The Whip, Drive by Argument, and Nathan Detroit, with more to be announced.

This year the capacity is increased to 35,000 people a day, and it will have over 60 acts on five stages over the two days.

Tickets are on sale priced at £100 for both days with camping, £85 for both days, £45 for either day, and £15 for camping - click here to buy. Note that people wishing to camp on Saturday night must have a weekend ticket.

Last year's first Rock Ness - a one-day event - had acts including Fatboy Slim, Carl Cox, Mylo and more, and attracted 25,000 people.
