Joanna Newsom & Robert Plant for Green Man Festival

By Neil Greenway | Published:

The Green Man Festival - which takes place at Glanusk Park, Brecon Beacons, Powys, Wales from Friday 17th to Sunday 19th August have confirmed the first two acts for this year.

Joanna Newsom and Robert Plant have been confirmed as two of the headline acts, with Joanna Newsom headlining on Friday 17 August and Robert Plant headlining on Saturday 18 August. More acts to be confirmed soon.

This will be Joanna Newsom's third Green Man performance, having played in both 2004 and 2005, and her headline appearance at the 2007 event is a UK Summer Festival exclusive. Ex-Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant is one of the best vocalists around, and the folk roots of Robert's music has always been in evidence.

The festival has music late on into the night, and this year will have more campfire ceilidhs and an increased capacity as the site expands into the parkland areas, with a larger second stage and DJ tent.

Tickets are on sale, with adult weekend tickets costing £98 including on-site camping and parking, and entry is free for under-12s. There's an additional cost of £35 for those wishing to bring a live-in vehicle. To buy tickets, click here.
