Thanks to the Islington based cocktail bar The Cedar Room unsigned acoustic acts are being given the chance to fight for a spot on the bill of this years Benicassim festival, and have all their expenses paid.
Entrants are being asked to email [email protected] with a link to samples of their music. If youre interested you must be quick as it is only the first 60 acts to sign up that will be able to compete for this prize.
The first heats for the competition will take place on Sunday 14th January, and will then be held from Sunday to Thursday each week from 8pm. It works is by giving each member of the audience a single vote per night for them to decide which act will progress to the next round.
The three levels of heats will lead to the final at The Pigalle Club on Sunday 11th February where the winner will be decided by an industry panel.
