another two early acts for Wychwood

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Wychwood Festival, which takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse, Gloucestershire from Friday 1st until Sunday 3th June 2007, has announced a further two early names for the line-up.

The new names are Ba Cissoko who'll play on the Sunday, and Sweden's Tobias Froberg (day currently unknown). Full line-up details are expected sometime in the new year, but as in previous years they're promising another eclectic mix of folk, jazz, indie, world and chillout music. Festival favourites The Levellers are already confirmed as Friday headliners, with the other two headline acts still to be announced. Country Joe McDonald, Robyn Hitchcock and the Venus 3, Martha Tilston, and Anoushka Shankar are also previously confirmed.

Wychwood 2007 will also feature cabaret and comedy alongside a range of different workshops for all ages. Sessions ranging from African drumming to life coaching, yoga to breakdancing, Mask Making to songwriting create an all round family experience.

A time-limited VIP ticket offer is still available (until 31st Dec, or until ticket allocation runs out), which includes a weekend ticket with camping, access to backstage hospitality, free souvenir programme and Wychwood ’07 official merchandise. The whole package is available for £100 - just a fiver more than the standard ticket price! To buy tickets (either VIP or a standard ticket), click here.

Unlike just about every other festival, cars are allowed on the campsite for people to unload, then they must drive off to the car park.
