Connect expands to three days before it's even started

Connect - the new festival for 2007 from the organisers of T in the Park, which is taking place at Inveraray Castle, Loch Fyne, Argyll has, before it's even started, expanded itself to three days.

Originally announced as taking place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd September, it will now start on Friday 31st August with an evenings entertainment planned to ease you into the weekend, with Saturday and Sunday "full to bursting with the eclectic mix of bands, artists, DJs, performers, comedians, visual artists and installations that will be brought together for you to make Connect the truly unique festival its guaranteed to be".

A limited number of weekend early bird tickets for Connect will go on sale at 9am tomorrow (Saturday 16th December), priced at £85 including camping, or £70 without. We'll of course have links to buy when they are on sale.

The first acts for Connect are expected to be announced early in 2007. We'll have all the details when available.
