fancy being the star of Reading Festival?

the BBC are looking for you

By Scott Johnson | Published:

Do you love Reading Festival? Is it your yearly pilgrimage? Are you going with a gang of metallers, emo kids, mods - have you just got an interesting gang? Are you a seasoned pro or a first-timer? Are you just an interesting lively character who loves the festival?

If you’re one of the above then the BBC want to hear from you. They are looking for people who enjoy being filmed, and are willing to give up a little of their time over the weekend to show the viewers what their personal festival experience is like.

If you’re interested in participating then please contact [email protected].

The Carling Weekend: Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and The Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Both festivals happen on Friday 25th to Sunday 27 August.

Love Not Riots The Reading and Leeds festivals will have a line-up that includes Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Pearl Jam, Kaiser Chiefs, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys, The Streets, Feeder, Placebo, My Chemical Romance, Slayer, Primal Scream, The Raconteurs, Maximo Park, Dizzee Rascal, Coheed & Cambria, The Rakes, and loads more, with many more still to be confirmed. For the full line-up to date, click here for Reading or here for Leeds.

Weekend tickets for both sites have sold out, but you can still buy day tickets for the Saturday at Leeds and the Friday at Reading (click here).
