Extra tickets for the Carling Weekend: Reading Festival are to go on sale at 9am on Tuesday 20th June ... if there's any left.

With festival organisers Mean Fiddler having successfully had the licenced numbers increased from 66,500 to 80,000 (including guests), the extra tickets will first be offered to those who pre-registered on the official website for extra tickets, with any remaining going on general sale on Tuesday.

The Reading and Leeds festivals have a line-up that includes Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Pearl Jam, Kaiser Chiefs, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys, The Streets, Feeder, Placebo, My Chemical Romance, Slayer, Primal Scream, The Raconteurs, Maximo Park, Dizzee Rascal, Coheed & Cambria, The Rakes, and loads more, with many more still to be confirmed.
