Carling Stage announced for Reading and Leeds

Bedouin Soundclash, Nouvelle Vagues, Animal Collective, & loads more

The full line-up for the Carling Stage at the twin Carling Weekend: Reading & Leeds Festivals has been announced.

At Reading on the Friday, and at Leeds on the Saturday are:- Bedouin Soundclash, Twilight Singers, Eagles Of Death Metal, Howling Bells, Bromheads Jacket, The Sunshine Underground, Little Man Tate, Get Cape. Wear Cape. Fly, Field Music, Scissors for Lefty, The Pigeon Detectives, Zox, and Mumm-Ra.

At Reading on the Saturday, and at Leeds on the Sunday are:- Nouvelle Vagues, The Fratellis, TV on the Radio, The Organ, The Like, The Spinto Band, The Noisettes, Good Books, Tilly & The Wall, Rumble Strips, Serena Maneesh, The Maccabees, and The Morning After Girls.

At Reading on the Sunday, and at Leeds on the Friday are:- Animal Collective, Hot Chip, Larrikin Love, Klaxons, Lethal Bizzle, Statik (DJ), The Research, Good Shoes, Semifinalists, You Say Party! We Say Die!, Humanzi, Switches, The On Offs, and Kharma 45.

Also new are two more bands for the Lock-Up Stage - Body Count featuring Ice-T, and Municipal Waste. These will play at Reading on the Friday, and Leeds on the Saturday.

They join a line-up that includes Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Pearl Jam, Kaiser Chiefs, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Arctic Monkeys, The Streets, Feeder, Placebo, My Chemical Romance, Slayer, Primal Scream, The Raconteurs, Maximo Park, Dizzee Rascal, Coheed & Cambria, The Rakes, and loads more, with many more still to be confirmed. Tickets are on sale, but all weekend tickets are sold out. Day tickets cost £60 for any day (no camping) at either Reading or Leeds. The Saturday at Reading and the Friday at Leeds have both sold out but there are still tickets available for the other days.

The Carling Weekend: Reading Festival takes place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and The Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire. Both festivals happen on Friday 25th to Sunday 27 August.
