how times have changed!

How times have changed. There was a time when any act that appeared at the Euro-TV fest called the Eurovision Song Contest immediately lost all credibility. Nowadays it gets them a festival slot!

This year's Eurovision winners Lordi - who played at Download last year - are already reaping the rewards of Saturday night's victory. They've just been confirmed as making a repeat appearance, and they'll play on the Gibson Guitar/MySpace.com Stage on the Sunday.

Tickets for Download are on sale, priced at £115 for the three days, or £135 including camping and parking. Parking is £5 in advance or £10 on the day. Day tickets are also available, priced at £55 for any day. There are now only weekend without campinjg, and Friday and Sunday day tickets left - click here to buy tickets online now.

Download Festival takes place from Friday 9th until Sunday 11th June 2006, at Donington Park, Leicestershire.

Acts across the weekend include Metallica, Guns N' Roses, The Prodigy, Korn, Deftones, Trivium, Bullet For My Valentine, Lacuna Coil, InMe, Within Temptation and Hatebreed - click here for all the line-up details.
