extra weekend tickets for Leeds Festival

By Neil Greenway | Published:

This morning, the Licensing Panel of Leeds City Council have granted an increase in capacity to 70,000 including guests, for The Carling Weekend: Leeds Festival.

As a result of that, Leeds Festival organisers are to release an additional amount of weekend and day tickets. The vast majority of those tickets are already notionally spoken for with the waiting list that was set up following the unprecedented sell out of tickets on April 3rd. The people on the waiting list will need to respond to an email being sent by Mean Fiddler, by 9am on Tuesday 2nd May, in order to take advantage of the reserved allocation.

Any unclaimed reserved tickets will go on release at 9am on Tuesday morning, 2nd May. eFestivals will of course have links to buy at that time.

The Leeds Festivals and it's twin Reading Festival both happen from Friday 25th to Sunday 27 August, with Leeds Festival taking place at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire, and Reading Festival at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire.

For the full line-up to date, click here for Reading or here for Leeds. There much more still to be announced, including more bands for the Main Stage, the Radio1/NME Stage, The Lock-up Stage (two days at each site this year), the Dance Stage, The Comedy Stage, and the Carling Stage.

Tickets are on sale, but all weekend tickets are sold out. Day tickets cost £60 for any day (no camping) at either Reading or Leeds, and are still available for all days at both sites. To buy, click here.
