Beautiful Days line-up announced

Gomez, Killing Joke, Levellers, Steel Pulse, Selecter, Buzzcocks....

Beautiful Days, the festival put on by The Levellers at Escot Park near Honiton in Devon from Friday 18th until Sunday 20st August has announced the acts for this year.

The three headline acts from Friday to Sunday respectively are Gomez, Killing Joke, and of course the Levellers, who are joined by a cracking line-up of bands old and new. Highlights include reggae legends Steel Pulse (yeah!!!! ), Echo and the Bunnymen, Martha Wainwright, The Proclaimers, The Selecter, Hayseed Dixie, Cara Dillon, Karine Polwart, Buzzcocks, Dhol Foundation, Seth Lakeman, and Larry Love Showband.

Also confirmed across the weekend for the Main Stage or Big Top are (alphabetically) 3 Daft Monkeys, Benji Kirkpatrick, Bleeding Hearts, Chumbawamba Acoustic, Damien Dempsey, Dan Donnelly, DIvokej Bill, Drunk In Public, Dylan Moran, Eighteenth Day of May, Hugh Cornwell, Julie Fowlis, King Creosote, Lunasa, Mark Saul, Neck, Nick Harper, Ox, The Fabulous Good Time Party Boys Medicine Show Sunday Morning Prayer Meeting Revue, Subgiant, The Coal Porters, The Crimea, The Demon Barber Roadshow, Toretz, and Tiny Tin Lady.

In the Little Big Top acts include Krafty Kuts, Barry Scratchy Myers (Clash tour DJ), Beatz & Bobz, Ben & Lex, Freq Nasty, Dib Dub, DIY, Pama International, and Nick Mannaseh. The full list of Little Big Top artists should be available in the next few days.

New for 2006 are two extra venues - the Pussy Parlure (Spiegel Tent) and the Bimble Inn. As well as a top line-up of bands and DJ’s, the festival has comedy from Perrier Award winner Dylan Moran and a host of performance and walkabout artists to keep you entertained around the site. Stage running orders for Friday, Saturday & Sunday will be available in the next few days.

Tickets have been on sale for a while, and already over two-thirds of the tickets are sold - so if you want one, don't hang about! They cost:-
Weekend (3 day) camping tickets: adult £85, under-13s £30, under-5s £3.
Friday (no camping): adult £25, under-13s £10, under-5s £1.
Saturday (no camping): adult £30, under-13s £10, under-5s £1.
Sunday (no camping): adult £30, under-13s £10, under-5s £1.
Car Parking Ticket: £2.50 (req'd by all vehicles except those with Campervan Ticket)
Campervan Ticket: £25

Weekend tickets entitle the holder to camp on Friday, Saturday and Sunday night. There is a nominal fee for children under 5 years because they count as part of the festival's capacity. Every person, no matter what age, must have a ticket. . If you are coming in a vehicle you MUST buy either a Car Parking or Campervan ticket in advance. Entry is by ticket only.
