mad scramble for Reading & Leeds tickets

online weekend tickets gone (except coach packages), but days still available

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Online 'normal' weekend tickets for the twin Reading & Leeds Festivals went like a shot last night when they went on sale, and sold out in a few hours. There's some weekend tickets available for in-person purchase from some HMV stores (see below) - but they're likely to go very quickly this morning.

However, there's still weekend tickets with coach packages, and day tickets (which don't include camping) available for both Reading and Leeds, so if you want to see Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Pearl Jam, and much more you shouldn't hang about!

Weekend tickets cost £135 (plus some more for the coach packages), and day tickets are priced at £60 for any day (no camping). Click here to buy.

HMV stores with Reading tickets (in-person sales only, max 2 per person):- Bath, Basingstoke, Bracknell, Bristol (Broadmead), Guildford, Kingston, Newbury, Oxford, Portsmouth (Commercial Road), Reading (Oracle Centre), Reading (Friar Street), Slough, Southampton, Staines, Swindon, Trocadero Centre, Winchester, Windsor, Woking.

HMV stores with Leeds tickets (in-person sales only, max 2 per person):- Barnsley, Birmingham (High Street), Bradford, Doncaster, Grimsby, Huddersfield, Hull, Leeds (Birstall), Leeds (Headrow Centre), Leeds (White Rose Centre), Liverpool, Manchester (90 Market Street), Newcastle, Rotherham, Scunthorpe, Sheffield (High Street), Sheffield (Meadowhall), Wakefield, York, York (Monks Cross).

Bands across the weekend include headliners Franz Ferdinand, Muse, and Pearl Jam, plus Kaiser Chiefs, Arctic Monkeys, Placebo, Audioslave, The Streets, My Chemical Romance and loads more confirmed - click here for Reading or here for Leeds for the details to date. Many more acts will be announced in the coming weeks.
