weather looking good for Bestival

last big outdoor festival of the summer

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Before the cold nights close in and we all start wishing for sunshine, there's one last big outdoor festival, this coming weekend's Bestival.

According to Metcheck - proven time and again as the best source for festival weather forecasts (again this summer it's consistently beaten other forecasts for accuracy) - Friday, Saturday and Sunday will see fine and sunny weather. However, the nights will be a bit chilly, so if you're going make sure you take some warm clothing. To check out the forecasts for yourself, click here (click on the Friday/Saturday & Sunday buttons to get those days forecasts).

Music at Bestival comes from acts including The Magic Numbers, Mylo, Dreadzone, Röyksopp, 2 Many DJs, Tom Vek, Super Furry Animals, The Go! Team, Lee 'Scratch' Perry, The Egg, Emiliana Torrini, British Sea Power, Fabio, Grooverider, and loads more - click here for the full details. As well as the music, Saturday night sees an attempt for the Guinness World Record for the biggest fancy dress party in the world. The theme is loosely Cowboys and Indians – go on, do it!

Tickets are on sale, priced at £89 for the weekend - click here to buy.
