"exhausted" Eminem cancels tour

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Eminem's Anger Management Tour has been cancelled "due to exhaustion" his record company has announced, reports the BBC.

"Eminem is currently being treated for exhaustion, complicated by other medical issues", a statement from his record company Interscope said. No further details about his condition have been issued, while the shows are unlikely to be rescheduled.

The BBC reports that Eminem's publicist Dennis Dennehy said there would be further news about the rapper's condition at a later date, adding that it was unclear when the decision to pull the European tour was taken.

eFestivals thinks that the exhaustion might be a bit of luck for Eminem, as ticket sales made through eFestivals haven't been good - in the last few days one ticket agent has even offered to supply tickets for no booking fee (something we've not encountered before). Then again, it may just be that most eFestivals readers don't like Eminem.

Anyone who's bought tickets should contact their point of purchase for a refund.
