A new stage - the Futures Stage - has been announced for T in the Park, which takes place on Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July, at Balado, nr Kinross.

Sited in a 2,000 capacity tent, it'll "present the acts that we tip to do big things a year from now" according to festival organiser Geoff Ellis.

Bands confirmed for the stage include Tom Vek, The Cribs, Editors, The Rakes, and Jackson United on the Saturday, and Art Brut, The Others, Aberfeldy, and Dogs on the Sunday, as well as other acts.

Acts previously confirmed over the weekend include Foo Fighters, Green Day, Travis, Keane, The Killers, Embrace, and many more. See here for the full details, including stages and days - T in the Park will now have a total of 10 stages this year.
