The Streets have been announced as the 'special guests' for V Festival, for the day headlined by Oasis.



Festival Director Bob Angus commented: "With two amazing albums, we’re thrilled to add such an acclaimed act as The Streets on to our 10th anniversary bill. They’re a great live act, with an impressive following and no doubt will provide a brilliant performance on the main stage."

They join acts including headliners Oasis, Scissor Sisters & Franz Ferdinand, Maroon 5, Embrace, Athlete, Idlewild, and many more, with more still to be confirmed.

V Festival takes place at both Hylands Park, Chelmsford and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of Saturday 20th to Sunday 21st August.
