Spice Girls to reform for Live 8?

anyone care? Thought not

By Neil Greenway | Published:

According to today's Daily Mirror, the Spice Girls have agreed to reform to play at the Live 8 concert, which is expected to take place at London's Hyde Park on Saturday 2nd July.

They claim all five members have signed up to do it, and quote a "highly placed source" as saying "Nobody can quite believe it's happening". Too right - the horror!

Live 8 is expected to be happening in support of Make Poverty History, with the aim of raising awareness for the cause. The Spice Girls will have people reaching for the off switch.

Other acts The Mirror claims will perform are Sir Elton John, Joss Stone, Sir Paul McCartney, U2, Robbie Williams, Coldplay, Oasis, Sting, The Who and Eminem, although Eminem (at least) is expected to perform at a version of the event in the USA.
