Jimmy Eat Woirld have cancelled their appearance at this summer's Reading and Leeds festivals, so that they can tour as the support at for Green Day in the USA.

Another act is expected to be booked to fill the Main Stage slot they've vacated - details will be announced as soon as it's sorted.

The line-ups for both festivals include the headliners of Pixies, Foo Fighters, and Iron Maiden, along with The Killers, Kings of Leon, Marilyn Manson, Queens of the Stone Age, Razorlight, Incubus, and many more. For the full confirmed line-ups to date, click here for Reading and here for Leeds. Many more bands will be announced over the coming weeks, for a total of six stages.

The Reading and Leeds Festivals both take place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th August, with Reading festival at Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds festival at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.
