More bands have been announced for the Reading and Leeds Festivals, which both take place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th August, with Reading festival at Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds festival at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Added to the NME Radio 1 Stage at Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday are local boys Cooper Temple Clause, My Chemical Romance, (stop that screaming girls!) Fightstar, and stepping up from the Carling Tent last year are The Subways.

New for the NME Radio 1 Stage at Reading on the Saturday and Leeds on the Sunday are Hot Hot Heat, The Kills, and the Others.

And joining the NME Radio 1 Stage at Reading on Sunday and Leeds on the Friday are British Sea Power, Willy Mason, The Duke Spirit, and Maximo Park.

Plus, new for the Main Stage on the same day, are Alkaline Trio, and Turbonegro, and Bullet For My Valentine.
