More bands have been announced for the Reading and Leeds Festivals, which both take place from Friday 26th until Sunday 28th August, with Reading festival at Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds festival at Bramham Park, Leeds, West Yorkshire.

Added to the Main Stage on the day with Pixies, The Killers and others (Reading: Friday; Leeds: Saturday) are Dropkick Murphys.

Joining the Main Stage line-up on the same day as Foo Fighters, Kings of Leon and others (Reading: Saturday; Leeds: Sunday) are Roots Manuva, The Transplants, and Simple Plan.

And added on the Main Stage to the day with Iron Maiden, Marilyn Manson and more (Reading: Sunday; Leeds: Friday) are Funeral For A Friend.

One other band are also confirmed, and that's LCD Soundsystem, who play the NME Radio 1 Stage on Sunday at Reading and Friday at Leeds, the same day as Bloc Party and The Futureheads.
