More acts have been confirmed for WOMAD, which takes place at Rivermead, Reading, from Friday 29th until Sunday 31st July.

Robert Plant and the Strange Sensation have been added to appear on the Friday, and other new additions are Fatback Band, Andy White, Dulsori, and Kala Chethena Kathakali Theatre Company.

They join the acts already confirmed, which includes Richie Havens, Youssou N'Dour et le Super Etoile de Dakar, Afro Celt Sound System, Apache Indian & the Reggae Revolution, and many more.

See here for the full list of the acts so far confirmed. More acts will be confirmed over the coming months, to a total of over 70 artists from 30 countries performing over three days on seven outdoor and indoor stages.

WOMAD also offers hundreds of participatory workshops for adults and children, late night grooves at 'Club WOMAD', the cabaret tent, a kids' procession, a small traditional funfair, and probably the best festival markets anywhere, for over 26,000 attendees.
