T in the Park 2005

The first acts have just been confirmed for this year's T in the Park, being held at Balado, nr Kinross in Scotland over the weekend of 9th/10th July.

Headlining on the Saturday are Foo Fighters, and the Sunday headline act are Green Day.



Saturday will also include Keane, Embrace, The Streets, Audioslave, Beautiful South and The Coral, while Sunday will also have The Killers, Prodigy, Kasabian, Ian Brown, Razorlight and Biffy Clyro. Many more acts will be confirmed over the coming weeks.

Tickets go on sale tomorrow (Saturday 12th February) at 9am, priced at £82 for the weekend, and £97 for the weekend with camping. Day tickets are priced at £46.50 for each day.

When tickets went on sale for a month immediately after last year's festival, a third of the tickets were sold. So get your tickets quick, so that you don't miss out!
