Elvis Costello and The Imposters are amongst the first acts confirmed for the second Cornbury Music Festival, which takes place at Cornbury Park, near the Oxfordshire town of Charlbury on the Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th July.

Also confirmed are Amy Winehouse, and Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel. If you come up and see them, they'll make you smile.

Further acts will be confirmed in the coming weeks, and they are promising an "eclectic mix of musical styles".

The festival is keen to recreate the unique atmosphere of the old country fairs and festivals that were first held at Cornbury in the late 18th century. The 21st century festival offers a variety of attractions including a fairground, theatre workshops, arts and crafts, speciality shops, novelty acts and upmarket catering offering everything from champagne and cappuccinos to real ale as well as the music.

Tickets go on sale on Monday 14th March.
