GLC new for Cardiff tsunami concert

By Neil Greenway | Published:

Goldie Lookin' Chain are the latest act added to the Tsunami Relief Cardiff Concert, happening at Cardiff's Millenium Stadium on Saturday 22nd January.

Also recently added are Lulu, and Camera (who'll play from 3pm, as people arrive, before the main show starts at 3:30pm). Radio 1's Edith Bowman is to be one of the hosts for the day.

They join the line-up that already includes Eric Clapton, Jools Holland and The Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, Feeder, Lemar, Aled Jones, Katherine Jenkins, Badly Drawn Boy, Embrace, Manic Street Preachers, Snow Patrol, Charlotte Church, Keane, Liberty X, Craig David, Heather Small, and Kelly Jones.

The sold-out event aims to raise £1M to help provide aid to those affected by the tsunami in the Indian Ocean on 26th December.

The BBC will be broadcasting the show on both TV and radio, as well as online. Parts of the show will be live on BBC1 and BBC2, and Radio 2, and the concert will be shown live by BBC Wales on S4C from 1500 GMT.
