New Found Glory out of Reading/Leeds

with a poor, poor excuse!

By Neil Greenway | Published:

New Found Glory have pulled out of Reading and Leeds festivals, so that they can attend the Video & Music Awards in the USA.

A spokesman for Reading and Leeds festivals said "We are disappointed they feel this is more important than playing the festivals."

Pulling out of these festivals - and disappointing any fans that were planning to see them - at such sort notice, and for such a reason, doesn't indicate a high regard for their fans. Perhaps now they have less of them?

The Reading and Leeds festivals take place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Bramham Park, nr Leeds, West Yorkshire, both from 27th-29th August 2004.

Music at both locations comes from headliners The Darkness, The White Stripes, and Green Day, plus The Offspring, Ash, The Hives, Morrissey, The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, 50 Cent, Lostprophets, The Streets, Placebo, and many more.
