T in the Park's new drinking Fountain

By Neil Greenway | Published:

T in the Park this weekend introduces a brand new bar to the festival site - called Fountain - which is housed in an exclusive and specially designed structure. It has been put together with 11.3 tonnes of galvanised steel, covering an area of 25 metres squared. A pyramid-style roof made of iridescent silver skins takes the structure to over 14 metres in height, creating a real focal point onsite when the Balado crowd begin to arrive on Saturday afternoon.

A prominent DJ booth will also host a gallery of audio delight, with diverse soundscapes provided by a mix of eclectic DJs gracing the decks over the weekend! As a place to go and chill out, and hang out with friends, it's somewhere different to enjoy a pint!

T in the Park is sold out. Please only turn up at T in the Park if you are in possession of a valid ticket. Increased security measures are in place at the entrances and in the surrounding area as well as on the festival buses to ensure that anyone without a ticket will not be able to travel to the Balado site. The message is simple: if you don’t have an official ticket, you will not get into this year’s T in the Park.

The line-up includes The Darkness, The Strokes, The Pixies, The Charlatans, Faithless, Pink, Kings of Leon, Black Eyed Peas, N*E*R*D, Franz Ferdinand, Snow Patrol, Scissor Sisters, Muse, Orbital (with their last ever UK show), and Wu-Tang Clan. Check out all the confirmed acts here.

If you're at T in the Park this weekend, we'll see you there. Check out the exclusive eFestivals photos and reviews early next week.
