new V Festival stage details & line-up

Hope of the States, Delays, The Bees, The Stands, and many more

Back in April, details were revealed about a new stage for this years V Festival’s, specifically dedicated to emerging acts. To be called the Music Choice Stage, it will present up and coming bands, including Hope of the States, Delays, The Bees, The Crimea, The Stands, Joy Zipper, Dead 60’s, The Casuals, Magnet, Polly Paulusma, Thea Gilmore, Cathy Davey, Longview, South, Tim Booth, Kinky, Easyworld, Stateless, Colour of Fire, Mohair, InMe, Jerry Fish and the Mudbug Club, and Backlight.

V Festival takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of 21st/22nd August 2004.

Acts already confirmed include the headliners of The Strokes, and Dido, as well as Muse, Pixies, Pink, Snow Patrol, Keane, Massive Attack, Kings of Leon, Primal Scream, N*E*R*D, Athlete, Faithless, The Thrills, Badly Drawn Boy, Jet, Jamelia, Jamie Cullum, and many more. Nearly all tickets have now gone for this year's V Festival. All camping tickets have now completely sold out and there are only a limited number of day tickets still available - get 'em while you still can!

Tickets are priced at: weekend with camping £98.50; Weekend no camping £82.50; Saturday or Sunday day tickets £46.50. Tickets for both sites are available here.
