Carling Stage for Reading & Leeds

The full line-up for the Carling Stage has been announced (although who plays on what day has yet to be finalised) for the Reading and Leeds Festivals, which take place at Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Bramham Park, nr Leeds, West Yorkshire, both from 27th-29th August 2004.

The stage hass co-headliners each day. These are: Kasabian / The Shins (Reading Friday; Leeds Saturday), Mark Lanegan / Mondo Generator (Reading Saturday; Leeds Sunday), and The Kills / Soundtrack Of Our Lives (Reading Sunday; Leeds Friday).

The other bands that wil play on the Carling Stage over the weekend are: The 45’s, Agent Blue, Amplifier, Autolux, Blanche, The Cribs, Danko Jones, The Departure, Devendra Barnhart, Dios, Do Me Bad Things, The Duke Spirit, The Features, The Golden Virgins, The Glitterati, Infrasound, Kaiser Chiefs, The Living Things, Madrugada, McLusky, My Red Cell, The Others, Pink Grease, Riff Random, Roxy Saint, Terra Diablo, 10,000 Things, TV On The Radio, Your Code Name Is Milo.

And newly confirmed for the Radio 1 Stage is Modest Mouse, who'll play at Reading on the Friday and Leeds on the Saturday, between The Wildhearts and The (International) Noise Conspiracy.

The line-up for the Concrete Jungle Stage is confirmed as complete. Line-ups for the Dance Stage are expected to be announced soon.

Bands previously confirmed includes headliners The Darkness, The White Stripes, and Green Day, plus The Offspring, Ash, The Hives, Morrissey, The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, 50 Cent, Lostprophets, The Streets, Placebo, and many more. For the confirmed line-ups, click for Reading or Leeds. A further announcement - including some of the line-up for the Carling Stage - is due tomorrow.

All weekend tickets for Reading Festival have now sold out, as have Saturday tickets. Weekend tickets, and tickets for each day, are still available for the twin Leeds Festival, which has the same bands play, but on different days.

Weekend tickets are priced at £105. Day tickets are priced at £45 for all days.
