Radio 1 Stage headliners for Reading & Leeds

plus more for Main Stage

The headliners for the Radio 1 Stage at the Reading and Leeds festivals have been announced.

The bands are Graham Coxon (Reading: Friday, Leeds: Saturday), Funeral For A Friend (Reading: Saturday, Leeds: Sunday), Supergrass, and the Von Bondies (Reading: Sunday, Leeds: Friday).

Also announced (for the Main Stage) are Jurassic 5, Hundred Reasons (Reading: Friday, Leeds: Saturday), The Vines (Reading: Saturday, Leeds: Sunday), andf Placebo (Reading: Sunday, Leeds: Friday).

The join those already announced, which includes headliners The Darkness, The White Stripes, and Green Day, plus The Offspring, Ash, The Hives, Morrissey, The Libertines, Franz Ferdinand, 50 Cent, Lostphophets, and The Streets.

Reading Festival takes place Little Johns Farm, Richfield Avenue, Reading, Berkshire, and Leeds Festival takes place at Bramham Park, nr Leeds, West Yorkshire, both from 27th-29th August 2004.

Weekend tickets have been on sale already for about 6 weeks, priced at £105. Day tickets are priced at £45 for all days.
