More bands have been added to V Festival, which takes place at Hylands Park, Chelmsford, and Weston Park, Staffordshire over the weekend of 21st/22nd August 2004, with the line-up swapping sites on the different days.

The added bands are The Charlatans, Starsailor, Kosheen, Basement Jaxx, and Scissor Sisters.

The confirmed line-up so far includes headliners The Strokes, and Dido, as well as Muse, Pixies, Pink, Snow Patrol, Keane, Massive Attack, Kings of Leon, Primal Scream, N*E*R*D, Athlete, Faithless, The Thrills, Badly Drawn Boy, Jet, Jamelia, and Jamie Cullum. V Festival at Hylands Park in Chelmsford has now sold out of all camping tickets. Camping tickets are still available for Weston Park in Staffordshire but these are selling fast too. Day passes and weekend passes without camping are still available for both festival sites.

Tickets are priced at: weekend with camping £98.50; Weekend no camping £82.50; Saturday or Sunday day tickets £46.50. Tickets for both sites are available from SEETICKETS (was WayAhead) here.

Some people may succeed in buying - at face value - unwanted camping tickets at at www.scarletmist.com.
