Summer Sundae Weekender announced

Air, Mr Scruff, Amy Winehouse and more

By Neil Greenway | Published:

The Summer Sundae Weekender has been announced, for Friday 13th to Sunday 15th August, at De Montfort Hall, Leicester.

Friday sees Mr Scruff return with his dance extravaganza 'Keep It Unreal' for a second year, to kick off the festival on Friday 13th August at 9.00pm.

Saturday’s headliners are still to be confirmed ... if they're confirmed, a great name guarantees to keep you happy on Saturday. It's hoped that this band will be announced within the next two weeks.

Sunday will see Air close the festival, with a headline set on the main outdoor stage.

Other acts confirmed include Jazz-sensation and Brit nominee Amy Winehouse, as well as Dogs Die In Hot Cars, Folk Award winner Jim Moray, Clash-flavoured Mexicans Los De Abajo, Blue States, The Belles, Paul Burch, Fionn Regan, and New Mastersounds. Many more acts are still to be confirmed.

Tickets go on sale on Friday April 2nd, and as a special offer (up until the end of April) full weekend tickets (including Camping) will be £50; after that they revert to their full price of £55. Details for the purchase of day tickets will follow shortly.
