Five bands have been announced for the Game On Stage at Download Donington (not at Scotland)

The bands - HIM, Electric Six, Bowling for Soup, Life of Agony, Soil - have (all except Life of Agony) been rumoured on this website for quite a while, so there's no great surprises. But good all the same.

They join those previously confirmed: the headliners of Linkin Park and Metallica, as well as Korn, Slipknot, Iggy & the Stooges, Machine Head, The Distillers, and The Hives.

Download Festival at Donington Park, Leicestershire, is on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th June. More bands are expected to be announced soon. Click here for the line-up information, and some more great rumours.

Tickets are on sale at £80 for the weekend, £95 for weekend & camping, £5 extra for 'Loaded Camping; which includes hot showers, cloakroom, attended toilets and access to Club Kerrang! in the Download Café (limited capacity).
