According to Teletext's PS:News, cockney duo Chas 'n' Dave say they'll be appearing at the Reading and Leeds festivals just before the The Libertines.

Chas told PS:News "Our manager phoned last week to say The Libertines had offered us to play just before their show. It's 90% certain that it's all happening".

However, perhaps their manager should have looked at their tour dates? According to the Chas 'n' Dave website, they're playing in Penzance and Tavistock on the Friday and Saturday, which could make things rather difficult.

The tickets for this year's events, to be held from Friday 27th - Sunday 29th August at Richfield Avenue, Reading and Bramham Park, Leeds cost £105 for the three days, including camping and car parking. A limited pre-release of these tickets are available to buy now.
